Darryl Slimak wins two Central PA medical malpractice defense verdicts
McQuaide Blasko attorney Darryl Slimak recently achieved full defense verdicts in two separate medical malpractice actions.
The first action, filed in Cambria County, claimed that the plaintiff had suffered damage to her eye following laser eye surgery. After seven days of trial, the jury unanimously found that the physician had committed no negligence.
In the second action, Mr. Slimak defended a radiologist, this time in Clarion County. The plaintiff claimed that the physician had diagnosed but failed to timely communicate to the treating obstetricians a congenital kidney disorder in a fetus. A nine-day trial resulted in the jury unanimously finding no negligence on the part of the physician.
Mr. Slimak is a senior member of McQuaide Blasko's litigation group and focuses his practice on complex medical malpractice litigation.
