McQuaide Blasko's administration and human resource functions are conducted at our main office in State College. Questions should be directed to Thomas C. We generally keep resumes on file for up to one year. McQuaide Blasko has more than 80 employees. Openings may occur throughout the year in any of the following employee categories:

Associate Attorneys: McQuaide Blasko accepts resumes from practicing attorneys and third-year law students. We prefer candidates who have graduated in the top one-third of their law school class or otherwise demonstrate significant academic achievement. Relevant experience and other factors are also taken into account. Please contact the Director of Administration to inquire about openings in your area of interest.

Summer Law Clerks: Each fall, McQuaide Blasko begins the process of hiring summer law clerks. We typically hire only second-year students; however, exceptions have been made for exceptional first-year students. A strong academic record is required; top one-third of law school class is preferred.

Paralegals: McQuaide Blasko employs paralegals in the following areas of law: business, civil litigation, estate planning and administration, intellectual property, medical malpractice defense, and real estate. We prefer five years of area-specific experience.

Legal Secretaries: McQuaide Blasko legal secretaries typically are assigned to support two or three attorneys. Candidates should have a minimum of three years' experience in a law practice. Additionally, an undergraduate degree or a business school certificate is preferred. We will also consider individuals with significant experience as an administrative/executive assistant who have been responsible for preparation of formal correspondence, contracts, or similar documents.

Copy Center Clerks: The Firm's copy center uses full- and part-time employees to perform the following duties: intra-office mail sorting and delivery; delivery of documents in the State College area, the Harrisburg area, and surrounding counties; copying and faxing documents; and miscellaneous tasks. These employees have been college students, parents, spouses of university graduate students, and retirees. Candidates must have a reliable vehicle for delivery duties. Employees are reimbursed for mileage at the current IRS-allowed rate.
