Carolyn’s comprehensive estate planning and administration practice enables her to work with clients at every stage, from early planning through the finalization of the estate. Drawing on her experience in health care law and elder law, Carolyn works with clients to craft and implement individualized estate plans. Carolyn also provides guidance regarding the full administration of estates, working with beneficiaries to safeguard their interests or with fiduciaries to ensure responsibilities are satisfied. Additionally, Carolyn handles guardianship matters.
Carolyn’s interest in business and employment matters emanated from years of handling sophisticated cases for large institutional entities and their employees. Carolyn is well-versed in all aspects of daily internal operations, contracts, drafting and reviewing agreements, and negotiations. Carolyn is also skilled in risk assessment and management. Always up for a challenge, Carolyn has a penchant for solving novel legal issues.
Having previously served as a judicial law clerk to a judge of the Court of Common Pleas of Monroe County, and as a deputy district attorney in Monroe and Dauphin Counties, Carolyn navigates the courtroom with ease. In instances in which litigation is unavoidable, Carolyn is efficient and capable of handling all stages of a case, with expertise in complex medical professional liability defense. Carolyn has also represented licensed health care providers in state licensure investigations and proceedings conducted by the state Board of Medicine.
